Web chat is a widget you place on your site so your visitors can message you in the moment. Its conversations arrive in your inbox like those of any other channel.
Steps
Create the widget
In Channels, choose Web chat and create a new widget.
Customize it
Adjust its color, greeting and text so it matches your brand.
Install it on your site
Copy the code ApyConnect gives you and paste it into your site (before the closing </body> tag). If you use a page builder or store, paste it into the code or scripts section.
Assign an inbox
Use Assign inbox to route the chat’s conversations to the inbox you choose.
You can ask for the visitor’s email when the chat starts, to recognize them and follow up even if they close the page.
